Albert Kong, the Associate Professor of Institute of Astronomy to be chosen as the “ The Outstanding Young Scholar” in 2008 by KENDA Organization.

In order to encourage young scholars to undergo basic scientific research and assist internal academic units or research organizations to have more young and outstanding scholars to work in Taiwan to improve international academic competition ability, the award of “The Outstanding Young Scholar” is established.

The qualification of applying for this award is as follows: holding the degree of PhD, hired by internal academic units or research organizations less than two years, specialty in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and the age should be under 40.
